Q. 간단한 본인 소개 부탁 드립니다.
제 이름은 Ngo Thien Tu입니다. 울산대학교에서 박사과정을 졸업하고, 조선대학교에서 박사후 과정을 밟았습니다. 지금은 정우산기 회사의 R&D 센터에서 연구원으로 일하고 있습니다.
My name is Ngo Thien Tu. I graduated from the Ph.D. program at Ulsan University, then I came to Chosun University for the Post-Doctoral position. Now I work as a researcher in the R&D center of 정우산기 company.
Q. 현재 소속팀에서 어떤 업무를 수행하고 있나요?
주로 저희 회사 제품 내부의 진동, 열유체 분포와 같은 것들을 시뮬레이션하고 분석합니다. CFD 시뮬레이션 결과에서 문제가 어디에 있는지 찾은 다음 모델 모양을 최적화할 수 있습니다.
In my R&D team, my job is to simulate the flow distribution, pressure drop, and particle motion inside the company's equipment. From the CFD simulation results, I can find out where the problems are and then optimize the model shape.
Q. NFX CFD를 도입한 배경은?
유체의 흐름을 검토가 필요한 것은 물론 제품 내부 형상에 의한 흐름과 파티클 입자의 움직임에 대해서도 확인이 필요했습니다. 그래서 그때 저희는 요구사항을 충족시킬 수 있는 다양한 시뮬레이션 소프트웨어를 찾아보았습니다. 그래서 midas NFX를 만나게 되었고, 저희가 찾던 프로그램이었죠. 저희 회사에서 midas NFX 도입을 결정하게 된 이유였습니다. 저희 회사의 최고의 선택이었다고 생각합니다.
Starting the our demand about the fluid flow distribution and also rest of inside model and also particle motion. So at the time we try to find many the simulation software can meet our demand . So that's why our company select the midas NFX. and we think that's the best choice for us.
Q. 다양한 CAE 제품 중에 NFX CFD를 선택한 이유는?
현재 사용할 수 있는 상용 CFD 소프트웨어가 많이 있습니다. 하지만, 우리 회사에서는 우리의 작업에 사용할 도구로 마이다스 NFX 소프트웨어를 선택했습니다. NFX는 복잡한 모델에 대한 정확한 결과를 생성할 수 있고 사용자 인터페이스가 편리하기 때문입니다. 또한, NFX 사용자 인터페이스는 영어, 한국어, 일본어 등과 같은 많은 언어를 제공합니다. 그래서 현지인과 외국인 모두가 사용하기에 편리합니다.
There are many commercial CFD software available today. However, our company chose Midas NFX software as the tool to use in our work. This is because NFX can produce accurate results for complex models and the user interface is convenient. In addition, the NFX user interface provides many languages, such as English, Korean, Japanese, and so on. So it is convenient for both local and foreign people to use.

Q. NFX CFD는 어떻게 활용되고 있나요?
CFD 프로세스를 시작하기 전에는 모델을 정리하거나 단순화해야 해요. 그리고 그 후에 우리는 CFD를 시작할 수 있는데요. midas NFX에서 미리 체크할 수 있는 점이 매우 좋습니다. CFD 해석 중간에 문제 여부에 대해서 확인해볼 수가 있어요. 만약 문제가 있다면, 해석을 중단하고 경계조건을 빠르게 변경할 수 있습니다. 설정된 CFD 해석이 완료될 때까지 기다릴 필요 없이 시간을 절약할 수 있습니다. 이점이 midas NFX의 아주 좋은 부분이라고 생각합니다.
Before the CFD process we need to the clean up the model or the simplify the model. And after that we can start the CFD and during the CFD process. And then in the midas NFX we have the very good points. that we can check the preliminary results. during the CFD the process And then we can check where is the problem. if the problem happen And then we can stop the process and we can check the boundary condition And after that we start to the CFD We no need to waiting the fully CFD real set finished. and then we can save our time. That's I think the good point in the midas NFX.
Q. NFX CFD 도입 후 어떤 변화가 있었나요?
NFX를 사용하기 전에는 장치 내부의 유동 패턴과 압력 강하를 이해하는 것이 어려웠습니다. NFX CFD 도입 이후 유체 유동 패턴과 입자 운동의 문제점을 알아내는 데 도움이 되었습니다. 그리고 나서 디바이스 모양을 최적화하여 성능을 향상시킬 수 있습니다.
Before using NFX, it was difficult to understand the flow pattern and pressure drop inside the devices. Sine NFX was used in our company, it helped in our work to find out the problems in fluid flow pattern and particle motion. And then we can optimize the device shapes to improve the performance.
Q. NFX CFD를 다른 기업에게 추천해주신다면?
네, 물론이죠. 다른 회사에도 NFX를 추천하고 싶습니다. NFX를 이용한 CFD 결과가 정확하고 합리적인 결과를 보여주기 때문입니다. 다른 회사의 문제를 해결하는 데 도움이 될 수 있습니다. 그리고 NFX는 국내뿐만 아니라 해외 기업에서도 없어서는 안 될 소프트웨어가 될 것입니다.
Yes, of course. I would like to recommend NFX to other companies. Because the CFD results using by NFX show the accuracy and reasonable results.
